In Fall of 2009, I spent some time in Breckenridge to explore some of the Fall Colors.  You can see from some of these shots, that we were about a week or so early.  Some of these shots of Fall in Breckenridge are when I first started taking some HDR shots and was still shooting with my D40 at the time.  Breckenridge is a great mountain town and continues to grow.  During the high season, it is host to many travelers from Texas.

During a trip back to the Washington, D.C. area in Summer of 2010, I was fortunate enough to make it back down to my hometown of Stafford, VA.  Although I didn’t get a chance to make it to my old house that I grew-up on, I was able to snap this shot of the Aquia Harbour sign.  Even though the shopping center (Aquia Towne Center) has gone down hill now, the Aquia area of Stafford still has great significance to me!  Today, Stafford is booming on the western side of Interstate 95 and I hope that the Aquia area is able to keep up with the production.

This is the Church of the Holy Apostles in the Agora in Athens, Greece

During my trip to Greece this Summer, I learned what this building actually was this time. This building is the Church of the Holy Apostles located in the ancient Agora in Athens, Greece and marks as the only real restored monument in this area. This monument is said to be the first significant church of the middle of the Byzantine period.
